is available in both Flat-faced and Curved-face loose type as well
as Type-discs. proprietary manufacturing process is responsible for
the extreme durability and exact precision of techno-type. Of course
the fact that imprints made with techno-type have been found to have
greater resistance to abrasion, chemical attack, heat, and other forms
of symbol degradation doesn't hurt.
Techno-type is made of hardened stainless steel. AAmstamp uses the
latest state of the art CNC production equipment, we maintain all
critical dimensions on loose type and wheels to within +/- .0005.
This tolerance is about 1/6 the diameter of a human hair unmatched
elsewhere in the industry. The quality and printing characteristics
of techno-type allow the user to print on thinner insulation with
no insulation damage. Techno-type also has a higher uniformity on
actual printing face surface for uniform contact and faster, easier
foil release and much improved readability. This means faster printing
for the user.
